SKIS Painting completed a painting project for the first joint Honda and Toyota dealership in North America—striving for a LEED Gold building.
This project required low-emission paints, designed to help the building target a LEED Gold rating. The SKIS Painting crew working on the project faced unique challenges, such as two separate and distinct color schemes, a separate car dealership a short distance from our working area, and multiple other trades to coordinate job activities with.
The schedule required our crew to perform a large quantity of our work out of the normal sequence for a job of this size. In total, 3,122 hours were needed to complete the project, as well as four different lifts, a 60-foot boom lift, and three 19-foot scissor lifts that were used to apply over 400 gallons of paint and concrete sealer.
At completion of the project the SKIS Painting crew was given tremendous reviews from the client for the service they had provided. They were definitely considered an asset to the project.
